November 25th

As we get ready to celebrate our Parish Patroness,

we would like to invite all of you to take part in a Novena beginning on

Saturday, November 16 to Sunday November 24, 2019 before each Mass.

On November 25, 2019

we will celebrate a Trilingual Mass at 7:30pm beginning with the Holy Rosary at 7:00pm.

After the Mass we would like to invite everyone for a gathering in the Parish Center to spend time as one community.

We hope you can join us for this Celebration!!

Month of the Rosary

During the month of October, the Church has chosen to devote to the Rosary.

The Rosary is the prayer in which Mary takes us by the hand and shows us the joys and sorrows of the life she shared with her Son, Jesus.

Join us in praying the Rosary!

Everyone is welcome!

(Rosary is lead in Spanish)

Monday through Saturday in our Parish Grotto at 7:30pm

**Wednesdays inside the Parish at 7pm**

Sundays inside the Church before each Mass.

Durante el mes de octubre, la Iglesia ha elegido dedicarse al Rosario.

El Rosario es la oración en la que María nos toma de la mano y nos muestra las alegrías y las penas de la vida que compartió con su Hijo, Jesús.

Masses may be requested by mail, by phone or in person at the Rectory.

The requested donation is $15 per Mass.

Allow me to offer my congratulations to you and the parishioners of St. Catharine of Alexandria Parish on reaching your 2019 Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA) goal of $21,426 in pledges. You and your Appeal Team, as well as your parishioners, are all to be commended for the diligence, sacrifice and personal commitment each has made in this important endeavor for the Church in Brooklyn and Queens.

Your leadership and example in implementing the local Appeal is an inspiration to all. It is because of the willingness of your faithful parishioners to answer the call of Christ to care for each other and build up the Church that so many will be helped. Because of the collective generosity of St. Catharine of Alexandria parish, the presence of Christ Jesus will be brought to so many through Catholic Charities, Catholic Migration Services, Vocations Support, Catholic Schools Scholarship Assistance, Chaplaincies, Care for Retired Priests, Parish Assistance, Faith Formation, and your own parish.

Each of you have responded to the 2019 Annual. Catholic Appeal in thanks for all that is accomplished through parish and diocesan ministry, recognizing the hope that goes hand-in-hand with your charity. It is my prayer that your parishioners will continue to emphasize participation in the Appeal, while understanding the magnitude of the impact that our Annual Catholic Appeal has on all the people who make up the Diocese in Brooklyn and Queens.

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

On Thursday, August 15, 2019 we will celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Holy Mass Schedule

English Mass at 8:45am

Spanish Mass at 7:00pm

Polish Mass at 8:00pm

 

On September 29 & 30 we will ask everyone to consider making a gift to the 2018 Annual Catholic Appeal at all of our Masses.

The 2018 Annual Catholic Appeal supports the daily work of our Church throughout Brooklyn and Queens in ways no one parish can accomplish alone by supporting  the following ministries: Catholic Charities; Hospital, College and Prison Chaplains; Diocesan Vocations Office; Catholic Migration Services; Parish Assistance Program; Office of Faith Formation; Bishop Mugavero Residence for infirmed clergy; Futures in Education Scholarship Foundation.

I would like to thank all those generous individuals who have made a pledge to the 2018 Annual Catholic Appeal.

The Senior Citizens Club would like to invite you to meet every Wednesday from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM starting September 5, 2018 in the Parish Annex.
