Grupo de Jovenes “Jornadistas”

Our motto is “Youth evangelizing youth.” We are a part of a larger movement of youth groups throughout the Diocese of Brooklyn who share this motto. Jornadas de Vida Cristiana is a catholic movement of Latino youth and young adults whose mission is to bring the message of Jesus Christ to the youth of New York City.

We meet every Friday from 7pm to 9pm in the Parish Annex. For ages 12+. Just stop by.

Jornada Olympics
Zone visits (fellowship with other youth groups in Brooklyn, Manhattan & Bronx)
Caminata (walkathon on Holy Saturday)
Pre-Jornada Retreats
Jornada Retreats (four day encounter for ages 16+)

We meet every Friday in the Parish Hall from 7pm-9pm.

Every first Friday of the month we attend First Friday Mass at 7pm.

Every 3rd Sunday of the month we serve as Ushers during Spanish Mass.

We pledge to always maintain a respectful and healthy environment in every activity in which we are present in and outside of the Movement. We recognize that these are positions that require time and work from us all, we understand and accept the challenge to follow in the steps of Jesus and the Apostles to work for the growth of the Kingdom of Heaven. We will do our best to bring the message of Jesus Christ to the youth of New York City.”
